A simple way for small homestays to hear from every guest.

The problem

Small homestays live on word of mouth, and today a lot of that word of mouth happens on Google. Most guests who loved their stay mean to leave a review, then go home and forget. Owners don't like to chase guests, and there is rarely time to.

Problems can slip by too. A guest who was unhappy about the hot water or a noisy night may say nothing at checkout, and the owner only finds out much later, if at all.

What StayRated does

StayRated sends a short WhatsApp message to each guest after checkout, asking them to rate their stay with one tap. Every guest then receives the same link to review the property on Google, whatever rating they gave. If a guest gives a low rating, the owner gets a WhatsApp alert straight away, so they can get in touch and put things right.

Guests don't install anything. Owners set up their property once, place a QR card in each room, and StayRated does the rest.

How consent works

Messages are only sent to guests who opt in. A guest scans the QR card in their room and ticks a checkbox, which is not ticked by default, agreeing to receive WhatsApp messages from that property about their stay and feedback. We record when they agreed and the exact wording. Guests can reply STOP at any time to stop all messages. Read our WhatsApp messaging and consent policy.

How we work

We ask every guest the same way. We never choose which guests are asked to review, and we never offer guests anything in return for a review. We send no promotions or marketing offers to guests. We do not sell personal data.
